Butterfly Wing - Yupo Experiment

11" x 13" Watercolor on Yupo
I know I've said this before -- but I really don't like working on Yupo. Now, to be fair, I've only done it twice! And, this time, it was a little better - it still is like trying to paint without any control! At least it is for me! I have seen exquisite paintings done on Yupo, and I wish I could master it, but I truly think that I'm just not that interested. But I'm glad that I tried again!

I think this is so lovely, Nancy, especially the palette. Everything I've seen done on Yupo I like. Now...I just have to get around to trying it myself one of these days!

What I like about yupo is what I call "the play factor". I'm free to play and experiment and if it doesn't suit me, I can wash it off and start over.

I'll follow you and not even try. But I liked this as soon as I saw it. I do like working on HP paper though, the paint and water just kind of lay there, don't know if it's anything like the Yupo.
