I grew up in Southwest Kansas, so Sunflowers have always been special to me. To see them out in the field growing up to 10 feet tall, just makes me smile!
Today I was feeling under the weather, so I didn't go to class -- but still needed to paint, so paint I did! This is from a Terry Madden book. I think I like it!

I just love sunflowers! and this painting is beautiful!
I, too, love painting sunflowers. The first one I ever did was from a picture of sunflowers in my son's garden in a tiny town in Vermont.
