My First Teaching Job

This was the subject of our first painting class

I gotta tell you - I just loved teaching this class! Everyone was really anxious to learn, and all did such a good job! When 12 showed up, I was a little (make that a LOT) nervous - cause I know from being in large workshops that it's hard to give everyone enough attention. But, they were all troopers - and their first painting was a very simple one, so it wasn't as hard as I thought it might be!
I sent them home with homework - I can't wait to see what they come up with! I just hope they all had as much fun as I did today!

Oh what fun... and they all did great and are so proud of themselves... you must be a very good teacher... and the students obviously enjoyed the lesson.

Congrats. Happy you had a good time. Teaching is somehing that is'nt easy for everyone to do. I have a eagerness to learn more about my aret, but i'd much rather me the student. It was wonderful of you to share your gift.

I'll say this is a sign of a good teacher! When I took my first piece home...and my second...and my third, etc., my husband and daughter were inviting all visitors into the living room to see what the "talented" mommy had done. As I explained, ALL of the students' pieces looked just as great. I say, "It's the sign of a good teacher." Thanks, Nancy, I love it!
