San Francisco Victorian

9" x 12" Watercolor

This is the latest entry in the DSFDF challenge. I was so excited to see the photo, since I used to live in one of these fabulous victorians in San Francisco back in the 80's!

Buildings are still a challenge for me, though. Can't seem to get all the lines straight enough! I guess I should use a ruler, but never think of it in time! Oh well, that's what "practice" is all about!

Wow you did this one fast. I bet it was fun to live in one of these old houses. We love old houses. The new ones just do not have the charm.

I don't know if I'm more envious about the fact you lived in one of these painted ladies or you completed your challenge so quickly! Congrats!

Don't be too envious -- most have been converted to apartments (like the one I lived in), and they aren't all that updated! Beautiful, but a challenge!

Good work, I bowed out on this one... too hard :-) You did a nice job though.

Hi Nancy,
Even though I'm quite fond of rulers myself, I like the charm and looseness you've displayed from diving right in. Very pretty!
