Once again, I have proven to myself that I just am unable to paint Plein Air! That said, I really did enjoy myself today - sitting on a bench, listening to the live music, watching the people and their dogs and painting away! Today was a fabulous day for our Art in the Park - in the 70's and sunny -- lots of people were out - and I sold some more stuff! Below are the two paintings that I sold this weekend:

I find that Plein Aire is difficult , too. Maybe watercolors just dry to quickly outdoors. The light changes, it's too hot, cold, buggy, sunny, whatever. It's not my bag but sometimes I do it anyway, it's just to beautiful to be indoors. Congratulations on your sales, very gratifying indeed!
Nancy, if that top painting is what you did en plein aire, then I'd say you most certainly can do it! It is a lovely painting, and oh boy! Makes me jones for spring! Sounds like it was a beautiful day and I am so glad you enjoyed it too. Congrats on two more sales!
Oh Sure, sure your worst plein-air is far better than my best. Honestly I just don't get it. Love your new header., .
Looks like you had a good time. and I love the bottom painting. I have not painted Plein Air much as it is so bad with bugs that bite around here and I hate to use deet to much. But I have been wanting to do some landscapes.
